The Geel Open is an individual 36 holes golf competition, open to golfers and retirees from the Joint Research Centre (JRC) Geel and to members from golf clubs and societies of the different European organisations and Institutions representing the European Commission Joint Research Centres, European Commission, European Parliament, European Patent Office, European Space Agency, Eurocontrol, European Investment Bank, European School, JET, FZ – Julich, PSI and NATO, and invited guests.
The 2-day competition will take place on Friday 1 July and Saturday 2 July 2022 at its usual venue, the Kempense Golf Club in Mol, Belgium. First start on both days is at 09:00.

- The competition is open to players of all handicaps but with maximum playing hcp being 36.
- Prize giving and presentation of the Geel Open Trophy is at the Kempense Golf Clubhouse on Saturday immediately after the golf
- Costs: Green and match fee for 2 days golf is euro 150. This includes lunch packets on both days plus a Saturday after-golf meal. The fee for the dinner on Friday evening is euro 50.
- Golfers who would like to play a practise round on Thursday 30 June can do so at a discounted rate. Please book your start-time directly with the Kempense Golf Club and mention Geel Open 2022.
There is a dinner on Friday evening at the Kempense Golf Clubhouse. Please indicate if you (and/or your (non)playing partner) are attending the dinner.
