For the first time since 2019 we can hold ‘Sponsors Day’ at ESTEC. This event has a long tradition and is held in appreciation of the sponsoring the club receives from a number of companies and supporters.
It’s a team event with teams representing the sponsors and factions within the club with prizes for the winning team (best three scores) but also an individual event with a prize for best lady and best gentleman. The format will be individual Stableford and non-qualifying. We will have the usual longest drives and nearies as with the ‘Monthlies’.
It would be nice to see teams representing our current sponsors HE Space, Serco and Rhea and our course ‘maintainers’ Hoek participate and why not others of the many companies with on-site staff? We will have a team representing the EGC Committee and why not the Gladiolen, ARES etc?
We need team captains so please get organized and inform us a.s.a.p.
For players who do not have an ESTEC pass, it is the responsibility of an ESTEC team member to arrange, à priori, entry with ESTEC ‘Security’ and act as escort. All players must have NGF ‘baanpermissie’ and handicap or a recognizable foreign handicap.
We will meet in ESCAPE and score cards with flights and start holes will be distributed at 12:30 so don’t be late! We will have a shotgun start at 13:00.
After the round, please check and sign your cards in the usual way and bring them to the table in ESCAPE.
Players are invited for a drink before the round (perhaps non-alcoholic) and afterwards (perhaps alcoholic).
Registration will be open on Proware shortly with sign-up closing on Wednesday 13 July. Please indicate under ‘Opmerking’ the team you will play for (please sort this out before sign-up). For non-EGC members (guests) we need to know names and exact handicaps before-hand so let us know in good time.
